Deniz Met, founder of Bluebodoni, advises luxury hospitality & lifestyle brands on strategy, positioning, and brand marketing. With 30+ years in marketing and luxury hospitality, Deniz’s career spans concept creation, pre-opening, rebranding along solid marketing, global PR, digital footprints, growth, and guest-experience design. She helped define Hillside’s hospitality DNA at Hillside Beach Club and Hillside Su (Design Hotels), with an excellent guest-centric approach where every touchpoint is tailored and, when appropriate, truly bespoke.
At Raffles Istanbul, she led positioning and marketing for a decade, working closely with Raffles HQ on refreshed brand guidelines for the flagship Raffles Istanbul within the lux-mall of Zorlu Center; launching Raffles Residences, Raffles Spa, and the Raffles Patisserie; and driving concept and Michelin-chef restaurant projects, including the award-winning pan-Asian restaurant Isokyo. She also contributed to the pre-opening positioning and storytelling of Raffles Warsaw and Raffles Bali, further extending the brand’s global narrative and marketing framework. She also made art a distinctive pillar of the brand through the hotel’s curated 224-piece collection and created the hotel’s Art Storytelling program with guided tours that became part of Contemporary Istanbul’s VIP agenda. This integration of art and storytelling elevated the hotel’s positioning, brought international publicity, earned the Best Luxury Art Hotel in Europe Award, and later inspired the brand narrative across other Raffles properties.
She knows the US, Europe, GCC, and CIS markets inside out and can quickly activate the right sales and marketing resources across these regions - from trade partners and travel advisors to media, distribution, and brand collaborations.
Under her leadership, the hotel repeatedly ranked among the best in Turkey, Europe, and the world, earning accolades from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Forbes, and others.
Most recently, as Global Director of Marketing for Nusr-Et, she oversaw worldwide brand positioning, international PR, digital marketing performance for 30 branches on global level with focus on the US, GCC, Europe, and Turkey, collaborations, and crisis communications—partnering cross-functionally with operations, HR, architecture & design, business development together with Doğuş Group and the chef himself.
Born in Germany and based between Istanbul and Athens, Deniz is trilingual—English, German, Turkish. Her German roots bring rigor and delivery; her lifelong engagement with art brings sensitivity and a quiet passion for people and context. Through Bluebodoni, she works shoulder-to-shoulder with C-suite teams to craft sharp, actionable marketing and brand roadmaps that elevate hospitality—resorts, city hotels, and boutique properties alike.
